In the event a fuel supplement is charged, such supplementary charges are not included in the cruise fare. The fuel supplement charge will not exceed US $10.00 per passenger per day.

Passengers disembarking to the airport should select flights that depart no earlier than 3:00 pm on Day 14.

Is This Trip Right for You?

This moderately active trip covers a fair amount of ground each day. Expect from three to four hours walking every touring day. The pace is moderate, however you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Shore excursions are available to purchase locally on board the cruise. DAY 1, Tuesday - Arrive in Seattle
Welcome to Seattle on Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest, magnificently surrounded by water, mountains and lush evergreen forests. Time to settle in before tonight’s orientation meeting with your Tour Manager on the adventure that lies ahead, followed by a Welcome Drink together. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 pm on the day of arrival. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in your destination no later than 5 pm on Day 1 of the itinerary or earlier, if possible

DAY 2, Wednesday – Space Needle & Chihuly Gardens
The day begins with an ascent to Seattle's iconic Space Needle, a legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair, with its astonishing 360-degree vistas of the city, the nearby mountain ranges, bustling waterfront and looming Mt. Rainier. Continue to the nearby Chihuly Garden & Glasshouse to view the comprehensive collection of mastered glass sculptures of artist Dale Chihuly including an expansive 100-foot long sculpture in a color palette of red, orange, yellow and amber. Return to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. Tonight, a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers at a local restaurant, celebrates your arrival in the Pacific Northwest.

DAY 3, Thursday - Ferry to Victoria
This morning, depart Seattle and travel by ferry, crossing the border into Victoria, the capital city of British Colombia, Canada. Enjoy breakfast on board, while cruising through the Puget Sound and into the Strait of Juan de Fuca on your way to Victoria’s Inner Harbor. Upon arrival, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Here, you'll see one of the world's greatest floral displays in the amazing 55 magnificent acres of flowers and show gardens, including the Japanese, Italian, and Rose gardens. Afterward, embark on a panoramic city tour of Victoria, starting at Beacon Hill Park. View the Royal BC Museum, adjacent to Thunderbird Park with its carved totem poles, and Canada's oldest Chinatown

DAY 4, Friday - Full Day in Victoria
Today is at leisure to enjoy the Victorian charm of this city, apparent in the horse-drawn carriages, formal gardens and tearooms. Perhaps, join the optional Victoria Seaplane Sightseeing. Soar above scenic downtown Victoria on a seaplane and marvel at the unforgettable views. In the afternoon participate in the optional Cowichan Valley Wine & Cider Tour with lunch. Head out of the city on a scenic drive to Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island’s thriving wine & cider region. Begin with a visit to a local cidery & distillery. Tour the orchard and continue to the cellar where you sample different types of cider. Proceed to a winery and lavender farm. Stroll through the lavender fields and tour the winery. Conclude the visit with tastings of the delightful wines featuring unique blends of fruits and lavender

DAY 5, Saturday - Ferry to Vancouver
Morning is at leisure. Later, travel by ferry to Vancouver, known for its temperate climate, it is one of the few places in the world where you can ski in the morning and sail in the afternoon. The city tour is highlighted by English Bay, a favorite recreational area, and Canada Place with its five white sails, an iconic landmark in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront. Later, on to Stanley Park, to view the Totem Poles and Prospect Point, offering stunning views of the mountains, Lion Gate Bridge and the city's inner harbor.

DAY 6, Sunday – Full Day in Vancouver
Spend the day at leisure in this cosmopolitan city. Perhaps head to Gastown, the city's oldest neighborhood, or Granville Island, with its buzzing artists' quarter, waterside restaurants, top galleries, and a huge fresh food market. Or, join the optional Capilano Bridge & Mt Grouse. Head to Vancouver's North Shore for a day of adventure! Gather together for tonight's festive Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 7, Monday - Embark Cruise

DAY 8, Tuesday - Sailing the Inside Passage
Enjoy a day at sea aboard the ship as you cruise Alaska's Inside Passage. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Orca whales and bald eagles. Humpback whales are often seen breaching by the ship, sometimes even lifting their whole bodies out of the water in a spectacular acrobatic display

DAY 9, Wednesday - Full Day in Ketchikan
This morning arrive in Ketchikan, Alaska at 7:00 am. Built out over the water and climbing weathered stairways, Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass. Besides the main attractions which include Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village, try a flightseeing trip to breathtaking Misty Fjords National Monument, an adventure not to be missed. These deep water fjords left by retreating glaciers left granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls cascading into placid waters. Set sail this 4:00 pm

DAY 10, Thursday - Full Day in Juneau
This morning, at 11:0 am, dock at Juneau, Alaska. Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town of Juneau has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields at its back door. Juneau is the place to let your imagination run wild. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest, visit the rustic shops in town, or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, or whale watch. Set sail for Skagway tonight at 9:00 pm

DAY 11, Friday - Full Day in Skagway
Arrive in Skagway at 8:00 am. This city was originally founded by hopeful adventurers looking for gold, but today the city is the perfect jumping off point for a hike or horseback ride. The Yukon Railroad offers scenic rides through the countryside, and the Chilkat Glacier system offers the opportunity for an up-close and personal view of icebergs. Set sail at 8:00 pm

DAY 12, Saturday - Cruise Glacier Bay

Optional Tours

The tour takes off from Victoria's Inner Harbour and includes spectacular views of the downtown buildings such as the Empress Hotel and BC Parliament. As you soar above the city, see the grand houses perched above the water along the rugged coastline, the islands that dot the Strait of Juan De Fuca and the Olympic Mountains off in the distance. The exhilarating spray of the water is always a highlight during take-off and landing. This thrilling half-hour trip is an experience not to be missed and an ideal introduction to seaplane aviation on board the DeHavilland Beaver (DeHavilland Otters may also be used). Small passenger planes are used from 5 to 18 seats. This optional tour is not recommended for passengers with a fear of heights.

Head out of the city on a scenic drive to Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island’s thriving wine & cider region. Begin with a visit to a local cidery & distillery. The tour will start in the orchard, then will continue to the cellar where you learn about the fermentation process before ending in the distillery. Chance to taste three types of cider, one spirit and one fortified. Afterward, enjoy a farm to table lunch overlooking the orchard meadow. Continue to a winery and lavender farm. Stroll through the lavender fields and conclude the visit with a tasting of the delightful wines featuring unique blends of fruits and lavender.

Cowichan Valley Wine & Cider Tour with lunch Thumbnail

Today, head north of the city to the famous Capilano bridge & Grouse Mountain for a day of adventure! Take an exhilarating walk across the 450 foot suspension bridge which is 230 feet above the Capilano River and admire the breathtaking scenery. For an adrenaline rush, try the Cliffwalk, a cantilevered walkway that is suspended from a granite cliff above the Capilano Canyon. Afterwards, embark on the treetops adventure and navigate a course of seven suspension bridges through 250-year-old, 100 foot evergreens offering a unique view into the forest. Learn about the history of the park and the ecology of the West Coast rainforests from your guide on your walk into the 27 acre park. Later, continue to Grouse Mountain to take a cable car up the mountainside with stunning views of British Columbia. From here, chose to take the chair lift up to the summit, watch a lumberjack show, take a guided nature walk or, learn more about the spectacular birds of prey of the region. Lunch is on your own..

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk are not wheelchair accessible.
