Passengers departing Banff to Calgary International Airport on Day 5 should select flights that depart no earlier than 2:00 pm. One group transfer will depart at approximately 8:00 am. Banff is approximately a two-hour drive from the Calgary International Airport.

It is recommended that passengers select flights that arrive in Calgary no later than 5 pm on Day 1.

Accommodation Details:
Triple rooms consist of two double/queen beds for three persons; where available, a fee may be charged by the hotel for the addition of a cot/rollaway.

Is This Trip Right for You?

This active program covers a fair amount of ground each day. Expect from two to three hours walking on some touring days. The pace is fast, however you will encounter some uneven surfaces, steps and slopes. The altitude in the National Parks varies and may be a consideration for those who have heart conditions or are otherwise affected by height. Hotels in National Parks provide limited amenities

DAY 1, Thursday - Depart for Canada
Arrive in Calgary, Alberta's major city and gateway to the Canadian Rockies. Transfer to your hotel in this rising city that grew out of the Canadian West, balancing modern and traditional with a pioneer charm. Tonight, meet your Tour Manager, who will introduce you to the exciting journey through Canada that awaits you. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 pm on the day of arrival. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in your destination no later than 5 pm on Day 1 of the itinerary or earlier, if possible
Overnight: Calgary

DAY 2, Friday - Depart for Jasper, Icefields Parkway
Rated as one of the top drives in the world, the Icefield Parkway is a two-lane highway winding along the Continental Divide through soaring rocky mountain peaks, icefields and vast sweeping valleys. Offering spectacular views of pristine lakes, tumbling waterfalls, ancient glaciers and the Columbia Icefields. Arrive in Jasper for an evening at leisure

DAY 3, Saturday - Jasper National Park, Lake Louise
Morning visit to Maligne Canyon to discover the waterfalls, fossils, potholes, and wildlife (road permitting). This afternoon, journey to Banff. Stop at scenic Athabasca Falls to enjoy the views of the Rocky Mountains. Continue to glacier fed Peyto Lake, located in Banff National Park, known for its bright color. After, make your way to world famous Lake Louise, known as Canada's "Diamond in the Wilderness." Tonight, enjoy an evening at leisure to explore Banff

DAY 4, Sunday - Banff National Park
Begin the day in the scenic Johnston Canyon. Enjoy some time to see the waterfalls before continuing through the peaceful Bow Valley Parkway to wondrous Banff National Park. Nestled in the heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies, the snow-capped vistas, crystal glaciers and sweeping panoramas are just one part of the astonishing allure of Banff. Continue along the shores of Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka, "Water of the Spirits", a gorgeous glacial lake in the eastern area of Banff where First Nations people inhabited the areas around 10,000 years ago. This afternoon, perhaps join the optional Banff Gondola Ride and enjoy spectacular bird’s-eye views of six mountain ranges

DAY 5, Monday - Depart Canada
Early morning departure from Banff to Calgary International Airport for your departure flight back to your hometown city. Passengers returning to Calgary from Banff on Day 5 should select flights that depart no earlier than 2:00 pm. Banff is approximately a two-hour drive from the Calgary International Airport
