This morning, learn about the history, culture and architecture of the largest city in Canada, on a guided tour of Toronto. See the bustling downtown district in addition to sites like CN Tower and St. Lawrence Market. Afternoon is at leisure to explore independently. Tonight, a briefing with your Tour Manager on the wonderful journey that awaits you in Canada

DAY 3, Saturday - Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the Lake, Wine Tasting
An exciting day awaits you at spectacular Niagara Falls, one of the largest falls in the world. Get ready for a thrilling boat adventure that travels to the foot of Niagara. Feel the enormous power, get splashed by the sprays and get up-close and personal with one of the most incredible creations of Mother Nature. Truly, an unforgettable experience! Afterwards, on to enchanting Niagara-on-the-Lake for a lunch at leisure. Continue for wine tasting at a local winery before returning to Toronto. DAY 4, Sunday - Travel to Ottawa, 1,000 Islands Cruise
The day begins with a drive to the shores of the majestic St. Lawrence River. Stop in Kingston, Canada's first capital city, for lunch at leisure with time to explore. After, continue to experience the icons of the 1000 Islands such as Boldt Castle, the Statue of St. Lawrence, 1000 Islands International Bridge and Zavicon Islands containing the smallest International Bridge in the world, during this cruise in the heart of the 1000 Islands. See the Statue of St. Lawrence, while he watches peacefully over the moving vessels and mighty St. Lawrence River. This statue is only visible from the water, standing high above on a rock cut. After disembarkation, proceed to Ottawa, the country’s multicultural capital city. The evening is yours to explore this energetic city on your own

DAY 5, Monday - Ottawa City Tour
This morning, arrive at Parliament Hill just in time to watch the traditional Changing of the Guard ceremony*, a large-scale production that includes an entire regimental band and pipers. Afterwards, tour of the city’s highlights including the Parliament buildings and the National War Memorial with a local guide. Free time this afternoon to explore Ottawa. Perhaps visit the bustling market, known for its large display of local arts and crafts or visit some of the city’s museums and art galleries. Later this evening, participate in the optional Rideau Canal Cruise with Dinner where during this narrated cruise you will discover the rich cultural heritage of the City of Ottawa. DAY 6, Tuesday - Travel to Québec City
Depart Ottawa toward quaint Québec City, the only walled city in North America, acclaimed as the “most French” city outside of France. Enjoy traditional Quebec cuisine along with music and taffy too! Upon arrival in Quebec City, time to explore the many old world shops, arcades and cafes. DAY 7, Wednesday - Old and New Québec City
The discovery of Old and New Quebec includes Place Royale Square, the picture-perfect site of the city’s original settlement, designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. View the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, one of the oldest churches in North America before ascending by funicular to stately Chateau Frontenac, perched elegantly atop Cape Diamond. In the Old City, linger a while to walk the winding lanes, window shop and watch the parade of horse-drawn carriages. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure or participate in the optional Half Day Quebec Tour. Travel to the historical borough of Île d'Orléans for lunch. Continue to a local museum to learn the history and production of copper. See a metal working demonstration and create your own piece of art. DAY 9, Friday - Montreal City Tour
On the city tour of Montreal view Jacques Cartier Square and McGill University, the Basilica of Notre Dame, historical Place d’Armes and St. Joseph’s Oratory. Ascend Mount Royal, the largest hill in Montreal, to see the spectacular vistas including Olympic Park, site of the 1976 Summer Olympics. The rest of the day and evening is free to discover Montreal on your own. Walk along the narrow streets of Old Montreal with its 17th century buildings -- you’ll think you’re in Paris!
