DAY 2 - Arrive in Barcelona
Welcome to Barcelona! Arrive and transfer to your hotel in Spain's second most important city with its unending choice of museums, galleries, and cafes. Transfer to your hotel on your own. Balance of the day at leisure. Be sure to spare time for a "must-do" walk along La Rambla, Barcelona's most famous pedestrian walkway with its life size animators, stalls and people-watchers. Tonight, enjoy your first taste of Barcelona's rousing nightlife and fabulous cuisine

DAY 3 - Full Day in Barcelona
The day is yours to discover all of the delights of Barcelona on your own. Or, discover the highlights of this artistic city on the optional full day tour. View the whimsical world of the master Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi on a drive past his most notable landmarks, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. Then, continue on to view the celebrated La Sagrada Familia, an architectural masterpiece and iconic symbol of Barcelona that is still incomplete. Head to the waterfront, port area, and the World Trade Center before continuing to Montjuic Hill home to the Olympic Ring, built for the 1992 Olympics. This evening, make the rounds at the Tapas Bars; sample delectable specialties at each place, continuing on your tasting tour throughout the night

DAY 4 - Embark Cruise
On your morning at leisure, perhaps a visit to enchanting Park Güell where Gaudi's characteristic vivid imagination is revealed in the many different extraordinary elements, beginning with the colorful steps up from the entrance guarded by dramatic mosaic dragons. Originally planned to be an exclusive area for wealthy families, the park was later opened to the public. The home that Gaudi lived in for over 40 years is now a museum dedicated to his life and work. This afternoon, transfer to the port. The ship sails at 6:00 pm

DAY 5 - At Sea

Arrive in Casablanca at 8:00 am. This lively seaside city is home to the splendid Hassan II Mosque, with its soaring minaret that shines a beam towards Mecca every evening. This architectural masterpiece is larger than St Peter's Basilica in Rome and capable of holding more than 80,000 worshippers. Visit the central market, a massive kaleidoscope of colors, and stroll along the corniche with its palm-lined boulevards, one of the city's most fashionable districts. The ship sails at 6:00 pm

Today arrive in Arrecife, capital of Lanzarote at 8:00 am, a serene port city with a charming center filled with shops, museums and historic buildings. Lanzarote, a contrasting island of volcanic origin, has an extraordinary landscape covered with ash and lava that seems to be from another world. Also known for its abundance of reefs and islets along the coast, there's opportunity to explore this island's many natural wonders, from fabulous El Reducto Beach to the craters, lava tunnels, canals and tubes of Los Volcanes Nature Park. The ship sails at 6:00 pm

DAY 9 - Full Day in Las Palmas, Canary Islands
The ship docks at 8:00 am in Las Palmas, a bustling city full of Spanish charm, enjoying year-round sunshine and warm temperatures. Visit the Vegueta district, the oldest quarter of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site, or enjoy a swim in the clear waters of the local beach. Explore the cobblestone streets and sample some of the local delicacies. Enjoy the many shops, cafes and bars along the promenade before returning to the ship this evening. Set sail for Tenerife at 6:00 pm

DAY 10 - Full Day in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands
The ship docks at 8:00 am in Tenerife. As you approach, look for the sweeping white façade of the Auditorio de Tenerife looming over Santa Cruz Harbor, a dramatic landmark with its futuristic design, often compared to the Sydney Opera House. Derived from volcanic origins, Tenerife is dominated by the Mount Teide volcano, its mighty crater and a steep and rugged coastline. Opt to visit the colonial city of Puerto de la Cruz, or Pyramid Park filled with mysterious formations, or stroll along the soft black and golden sands of the sun-drenched coastline. The ship sails at 4:00 pm. Dinner on board at your choice of restaurant

DAY 11 - Full Day in Madeira (Funchal), Portugal
Stand on deck to view this stunning mountainous island as the ship docks at 8:00 am in Funchal Harbour. Madeira's unique geographical location in the Atlantic Ocean, with its rugged volcanic peaks and beautiful tropical coastline makes it one of the world's most picturesque islands. While here, don't miss tasting the renowned Madeira wines that are still produced in the Old World tradition. In this lush, green and relaxed city, perhaps dive in the crystal-clear waters, swim with dolphins, or ‘whale-watch' from the deck of the ship. Set sail at 4:00 pm. Enjoy one of the spectacular stage shows or relax at the bar this evening

Arrive in the bustling Mediterranean city of Malaga at 7:00 am. Malaga is a delightful city, with a typical Mediterranean climate and a perfect base from which to explore the energetic Costa del Sol. It was here that Spanish artist Pablo Picasso was born; the Museo Picasso Malaga has more than 300 original works donated by members of Picasso's family in his honor. Explore the city or perhaps journey to Granada, to visit the 13th century Alhambra Palace, one of Spain's most celebrated monuments. This imposing hilltop fortress, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world's finest examples of Moorish art and architecture. Time permitting, walk along the lanes of the serene Generalife Gardens with its beautifully designed courtyards, waterfalls, and ponds. The ship sets sail at 5:00 pm

Arrive in beautiful Alicante at 7:00 am. This dynamic city is located on the country's eastern Mediterranean coastline, along the famous Costa Blanca. Explore the seafront promenades and wide esplanades, such as the impressive Rambla Méndex Núnez, and the renovated historic old quarter. Perhaps visit the Catedral de San Nicolás de Bari, an eye-catching cathedral with a particularly ornate cloister, and the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, the 9th-century castle which overlooks much of the city. The ship sails this afternoon at 3:00 pm

Experience many of the best highlights that the beautiful city of Barcelona has to offer. Begin down the Passeig de Gracia, a broad and elegant avenue lined with trees, luxury shops and houses. The street is home to some of the most renowned of Gaudi's buildings - Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. Continue with a visit to the Sagrada Familia, the inspiring and still incomplete work of Gaudi. Following, head to the Barcelona Waterfront and the Old Port and continue on to view the Columbus Monument, Gothic Drassanes shipyard and the World Trade Center. Visit Montjuic hill and enjoy outstanding views of the city from the Mirador de Miramar lookout. Next, view the 1992 Olympic Ring sports complex. Finally, arrive at Poble Espanyol for some time to explore on your own.

Includes entrance fees to Sagrada Familia and Poble Espanyol.
