This excursion from Florence to Cinque Terre National Park will prove to be an unforgettable day devoted to one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world, being five villages, hanging between sea and land, which together are listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Begin the journey at daybreak with the arrival at Riomaggiore, a village dating back to the early thirteenth century, which is famous for its historic character and local wine. Then visit Manarola, the tiny harbor town with a boat ramp and picturesque buildings clinging to the ravine. The tour continues to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered “The Pearl of the Cinque Terre,” renown for its enchanting beaches and the lush vegetation encircling the little town. Here, you will have free time to swim in the sea and sunbathe before taking the boat to Vernazza, a seaside town surrounding a small natural port. Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are highly recommended, as is swimwear. Please note that poor weather conditions may result in last-minute changes to the itinerary.

This evening, embark on a panoramic tour of Rome for a unique view of some of the most famous sites and monuments of the "eternal city". The tour begins on foot with a visit to the Trevi Fountain, where you will have the chance to toss in a coin to ensure a return trip to Rome. Continue towards Piazza delle Rotunda where you will admire the majestic Pantheon. Next, stop at Piazza Navona, and marvel at Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers. This morning, depart from Piazza del Risorgimento, in front of Bar-Cafferteria "L’Ottagono", and travel along Via Bissolati and Via Veneto. Pass by Villa Borghese, one of Europe's most elegant parks, and previous estate of the noble Borghese family. The tour continues to the Vatican Museum and Galleries, where you will find galleries of chandeliers, tapestries, geographical maps, the Sobieski Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. From here, visit the Sistine Chapel and behold the great frescoes by Michelangelo. Passing through the Vatican Hall, continue to the Basilica of Saint Peter, one of the four major basilicas of Rome, and burial site of its namesake, Saint Peter.

*Due to local events, the opening times of the St. Peter Basilica are subject to change without notice. In the event of a closure, passengers will visit the Vatican Library instead of the Basilica.

*Please note that on Wednesdays during the Holy Father's Audience, the visit inside St. Peter's Basilica will not take place.
