Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Drink and orientation meeting with your Tour Manager and fellow travelers at approximately 5 pm, followed by a Welcome Dinner

DAY 3, Tuesday - Dublin City Tour, Travel to Galway
This morning's sightseeing includes a panoramic tour of Dublin including a visit to Trinity College, home to the Book of Kells. View St. Stephen's Green, Phoenix Park and St. Patrick's Cathedral. After time for lunch on your own, continue westward to Galway, a seafaring town steeped in tradition and a cultural center for the west of Ireland. Stop at Galway Cathedral and then continue to see the medieval city walls and colorful streets between the River Corrib and Eyre Square. Enjoy free time for a stroll in this bohemian town

DAY 5, Thursday - Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, Killarney
Begin with a drive south from Galway Bay through the rugged plateau known as the Burren and view the mighty Cliffs of Moher,* an impressive wall of rock that towers some 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Next, visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, offering a unique insight into Irish life around the turn of the century. A drive through the pretty town of Adare brings you at last to scenic Killarney

Then, drive through the scenic south of Ireland into enchanting County Cork for a visit to storied 15th century Blarney Castle, where you'll have an opportunity to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, promising you the "gift of gab". Travel north through the picturesque village of Adare, with its pastel-hued storefronts and thatched roof houses, known as the "prettiest village" in Ireland. Visit Bunratty Castle, the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland restored to its former splendor with original furnishings, tapestries and works of art. On to the delightful Folk Park, dedicated to life in Ireland during the 19th century. Experience the sights and sounds of this enchanting place as you stroll from house to house or around the charming village street complete with school, post office, doctor’s house, hardware shop, and, of course, McNamara's pub!
