Additional Information:
Drivers must be at least 25 years old to rent a vehicle. A valid drivers license issued a minimum of 12 months prior to rental along with an international driving license is required for all renters. Drivers 75 years or older cannot be covered under the Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) or Personal Travel Insurance (PTI).

The lead passenger will be the listed as the driver of the vehicle. Additional drivers may be added for an additional cost at the time of vehicle pickup.

Rental pickup is unavailable outside pickup location office hours, make sure your flight arrives during this time and at least 1.5 hours prior to closing time. Please see travel tips for more information.

Entry Requirements:

DAY 2, Wednesday - Arrive in Milan, Drive to Como
Welcome to Italy! Arrive in Milan; pick up your reserved vehicle at the airport's car rental facility and drive to the sparkling town of Como, a lakeside jewel! Remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy your new and glamorous surroundings

DAY 3, Thursday - Full Day in Como
Today, perhaps take a scenic morning cruise on Lake Como to the charming village of Bellagio, termed one of the most beautiful towns in Italy and "The Pearl" of Lake Como. Nestled amidst cypress groves, its earthy-colored buildings climb up from the lakeside promenade. Wander along the narrow streets and alleyways, lined with craft shops, boutiques and cafés. Perhaps, visit some of the gorgeous gardens with manicured lawns and fountains at Villa Melzi or Villa Serbelloni. Sail back to Como in the afternoon with time to experience all of the delights of this lakeside town with its spectacular mountain views, wonderful restaurants, and world-class boutiques

DAY 4, Friday - Travel to Lausanne, Switzerland
A leisurely drive through the scenic Swiss countryside takes you to picturesque Lausanne nestled on crescent-shaped Lake Geneva. The city, built on three hills is encircled by vineyard covered slopes and the towering Swiss Alps. After settling in, opt to spend your afternoon in the charming Old City, dominated by the impressive 12th-century Gothic cathedral and the 19th-century Palais de Rumine, housing the fine art and science museums. This very attractive medieval city center is a fabulous place to walk along the winding alleyways, stopping to enjoy the multitude of sidewalk cafes and designer boutiques. Tonight, savor some of the delectable Swiss regional specialties at a wide choice of fine restaurants. Known as one of the most cultural cities in Switzerland, there are many opportunities in Lausanne to attend theatrical productions, musical performances or the famous Bejart Ballet.

DAY 5, Saturday - At Leisure in Lausanne, Drive to Vevey, Montreux, Château Chillon
In this city that is home to the International Olympic Committee, don’t miss visiting the world-famous Olympic Museum, an essential stop for sports and history buffs. Inside, a state of the art museum recounts the Olympic story from its inception to the present day through video and interactive displays. Then, enrich your day with a drive along the "Corniche" on Lake Geneva, one of the most beautiful roads in the Vaud countryside. Linger in the celebrated town of Vevey, with its majestic hotels and flower-bedecked lakeside promenade lined with palm trees. Its most famous inhabitant, the comedian Charlie Chaplin, spent the last years of his life here and is commemorated by a striking monument on the lakeshore. After stopping in the glamorous resort city of Montreux where writers, artists and musicians flocked in the 19th century, reach the astonishing lakeside island castle of Château de Chillon, one of Switzerland's most famous monuments, residence of the Counts of Savoy. After an enlightening day, spend your evening in chic Montreux or, return to Lausanne for an evening at the very hip Le Flon district, a magnificent example of urban regeneration center with its galleries, boutiques and superb restaurant scene

DAY 6, Sunday - From Lausanne to Geneva
A morning stroll along the lakeshore is a pleasant way to begin the day. Afterwards, possibly travel to Geneva, the magnificent “City of Gardens”. Some of the highlights here include the iconic Jet d’Eau fountain, that shoots water to create a sky-high plume and the unique Flower Clock that tells time with Swiss precision. View the Palais des Nations, built to house the now defunct League of Nations during your free time in this pristine city or, choose to walk the lively pedestrianized streets of the Old Town. Opt to cruise on Lake Geneva on an elegant lake steamer. You’ll see magnificent landscapes glide by as you relax on board. Later, unwind at a sidewalk café in Geneva to just “people-watch,” shop for fine watches, or sample some of the tasty chocolates. In the evening, explore the city’s fine international dining before returning to Lausanne

DAY 7, Monday - Lausanne to Milan
Spend the morning in Lausanne revisiting some of your favorite sites, or begin your drive early to reach Milan, Italy. Visit the grand Gothic cathedral, The Duomo, that lies in the heart of the city that was once the Imperial Roman capital. Or, obtain tickets to see Milan's most magnificent mural, Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, hidden away on a wall of the refectory adjoining the Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie. With any luck you may be able to attend a performance at the renowned La Scala Opera House. The city’s sparkling nightlife awaits you, along with the most delicious Italian food in the world. This non-stop city has so much to offer. Enjoy your last night in Italy!
