DAY 1, Sunday - Depart for Ireland

DAY 2, Monday - Arrive in Dublin
Welcome to Ireland, the "Emerald Isle!" Arrive in Dublin, the country's spirited capital, immortalized by James Joyce; pick up your reserved vehicle at the airport's Car Rental Facility. On the drive to your hotel, see the city’s contrasting architecture -- from modern glass skyscrapers to grand neoclassical facades, accented by lovely views of the River Liffey. Today, perhaps visit Phoenix Park, the largest enclosed city park in Europe, home to the official residence of the President and the Dublin Zoo. Or, stroll leisurely along Temple Bar with its charming narrow cobbled streets and statue-lined O'Connell Street, the city's main thoroughfare, dominated by the "Spire", the world’s tallest piece of sculpture. Dublin is filled with welcoming people, fabulous restaurants and cozy pubs on every corner where you can sample some of the local brews

DAY 3, Tuesday - Dublin
Today you have a full day in Dublin to see the city's contrasting architecture, from modern glass to grand neoclassical facades, along with lovely views of the River Liffey. Visit the famed Guinness Storehouse, where you might want to try a sampling of the brew. You can pull your own pint here in the Dublin tradition and browse the award-winning multimedia exhibits about Guinness - the city's best known export. At Trinity College, you can view the 8th century Book of Kells, a superb example of early Irish manuscript illumination that is on display in the Old Library. Wander leisurely along Temple Bar with its charming narrow cobbled streets and O'Connell Street, the city's main thoroughfare, home to the "Spire", the world's tallest piece of sculpture. This city is filled with friendly people, wonderful restaurants and cozy pubs on every corner

DAY 4, Wednesday – Drive to Waterford
Depart County Meath this morning, as you drive through Wicklow Mountains National Park for a glimpse into Ireland's wild side. The lush scenery and placid lakes are delicately wound through hills and valleys offering gorgeous views to begin your introduction to Ireland. Continue to Kilkenny City, considered by many to be the medieval capital of Ireland. The city is walker friendly and easy to navigate making it a wonderful place to stop for a meal and a pint. The city is also home to Kilkenny Castle, built in 1195 and has been added to and altered over the years to create a complex structure of various influences. Arrive in Waterford and take a stroll along the city quay, a mile-long promenade bursting with restaurants and shops while you explore Ireland's oldest city

DAY 5, Thursday - Waterford
Today you have a full day in Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland. Perhaps take a walk through the Viking Triangle, here you will see the Viking Museum, the Medieveal Museum, and the Bishop’s Palace Museum. Visit the world renowned Waterford Crystal factory and showroom. Waterford has been producing crystal since 1783. Walk through town and find an old pub for a dinner and pint

DAY 6, Friday - Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Limerick
Depart Waterford this morning on the way to Limerick. Visit the 14th century Bunratty Castle, one of the most lovingly preserved castles in all of Ireland, surrounded by recreations of 19th century Irish country houses, shops and cottages. Discover Limerick en route to your hotel. Visit the impressive King John's Castle, built in the 13th century on the banks of River Shannon to safeguard the city

DAY 7, Saturday - Killarney National Park, Killarney, Ring of Kerry
Drive through Killarney National Park to view Ross Castle, set on the shore of Lough Leane with mountains forming a backdrop. Continue to Moll's Gap for panoramic views of mountains and valleys. On your way back to the hotel you may want to stop at Killarney, voted the most beautiful town in Ireland. Lined with lovely shops, pubs and traditional arts and crafts stores, Killarney is nestled in the valley beneath Ireland's highest mountain range and surrounded by lakes. Embark on Ireland's most popular scenic drive, the Ring of Kerry, perhaps the most picturesque locale in all of Ireland. You may want to stop at Killorglin, the home of the ancient Celtic festival Puck Fair, where a goat is crowned king of the village
