Explore the highlights of Belgrade on a guided tour and learn about the city’s turbulent history and architecture. Visit the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress dramatically situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers and the lovely park surrounding it. Continue to the Republic Square and view the National Theatre, National Museum and the Prince Mihail monument. Stroll along Knez Mihajlova street, the main pedestrian and shopping zone in the city. Afterwards, arrive at the Vracar Plateau to view the Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in the city. Conclude the tour with a visit to Tito’s memorial before returning to your hotel.

Today, explore the Northern Serbian province of Vojvodina on the Danube River with its unique atmosphere and Austro-Hungarian heritage. Visit the town of Sremski Karlovci, which represents the place of preservation of Serbian culture in the 18th and 19th centuries. The town is famous for its numerous wine cellars, where tradition of winemaking stretches back through generations. Enjoy wine tastings in one of the wine cellars. After lunch, continue to Novi Sad, located on the banks of the Danube River with the beautiful Petrovaradin Fortress, the second biggest fortress in Europe.
