Arrive in Dubrovnik and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner and orientation

DAY 3, Sunday - Dubrovnik City Tour
In the morning, tour Old Dubrovnik on foot. This magnificent Old Town, with its treasure of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches, monasteries and palaces is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the walking tour, visit the Rector's Palace, an outstanding blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and view the monumental Sponza Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces in the city, preserved in its original form. Under the City Bell Tower view Orlando's Tower, dedicated to the legendary Knight that saved the city in the 9th century. Then on to view the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. Visit the Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world still in use today. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps spend time strolling along the impressive ramparts overlooking the shimmering Adriatic Sea, or visit the Maritime Museum in St. John's Castle. Don't miss tonight's optional boat ride around the Old City walls to St. Jakov Beach followed by a traditional Croatian dinner with Dalmatian wine along with spectacular views of the night-lit city

DAY 4, Monday - Split City Tour
Depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the dramatic Adriatic coast to the UNESCO protected seaside town of Split, the second largest city in Croatia. Upon arrival, a walking tour along the cobbled streets of the Old Town features the historic inner city with its dominating Roman influence, built around the 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This spectacular palace, a precious example of Roman architecture, is one of the largest and best preserved in the world. See the remains of the Cathedral of St. Domnius built in the Middle Ages, and the Temple of Jupiter with its headless black sphinx guarding the entrance. Spend the remainder of the day discovering the town independently, or taking a leisurely stroll along the scenic waterfront promenade. In the evening, enjoy dinner together

DAY 5, Tuesday - Scenic Drive to Plitvice Lakes
Travel north to historic Trogir, founded by the Greeks in 400 BC. Here, admire the three-naved 13th century Venetian Cathedral of St. Lovro, one of the finest architectural works in Croatia, and the stunning Cipiko Palace. A center of artistic activities, scholars came from around the world to Trogir to study and paint. Continue inland towards Plitvice Lakes National Park, a wonderland of 16 interconnecting lakes, flanked by thundering waterfalls and a huge primeval forest. This area, considered a geological and hydrological phenomenon is one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Arrive in the town of Plitvice for dinner and overnight

DAY 6, Wednesday - Tour of Postojna Caves
Today, travel along the striking Bay of Kvarner to the picturesque seaside resort of Opatija, the gem of Croatia's Adriatic coast, with its rich history. An orientation tour of Opatija explores the highlights of this former Imperial resort city. Time to enjoy the pleasures of this area before journeying north to the Postojna Caves in Slovenia, a huge network of passages, galleries and chambers, the largest show cave in Europe. Travel aboard the specially designed cave train with electric lighting that allows you to observe the splendor of the underground world, where the geological past is recorded in a unique manner. You'll be dazzled by the stalactites and stalagmites in a variety of shapes and colors. Afterwards, continue towards the Julian Alps to Bled. Tonight, dinner together

DAY 7, Thursday - Bled City Tour
In the morning, visit to Bled Castle, located on a cliff high above the lake. Balance of the day is at leisure. An afternoon optional tour is offered to Lake Bled a jewel among the Alpine resorts and to Bohinj, with its dense woods and spectacular mountains. Drive through typical Slovenian villages on the return to Bled. Tonight, visit the little medieval town of Radovljica on the optional tour that includes a traditional Slovenian dinner at a country inn

DAY 8, Friday - Walking Tour of Ljubljana
Travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, for a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, Robba Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Continue to Zagreb, capital of Croatia. In the evening, dinner together

DAY 9, Saturday - Zagreb City Tour
Begin the day in busy Kaptol Square in Upper Town, dominated by the monumental Zagreb Cathedral, with its soaring twin spires, its cobblestone streets and red tile roofed buildings. Walk along Kravi Most, to St. Mark's Church with its brightly colored roof and the 17th century Jesuit Church of St. Catherine. After a stop at the Parliament building, free time to explore the winding streets of the Old Town and Ban Jelacic, the main square. Or take a leisurely stroll along Ilica Street, packed with restaurants, trendy cafes and a vibrant shopping scene. The optional evening tour to Kumrovec, birthplace of the late Marshal Tito, begins with a scenic drive. Visit the Ethnological Museum's restored village houses from the turn of the 19th century. Later, follow a winding road through the Zagorje Hills to a charming farm restaurant for a dinner of local specialties and wine, plus stunning views of Veliki Tabor Castle

Sv.Jakov (St.James) beach in Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. A motor boat ride will take you around the Old City walls to St. Jakov Beach, where you will enjoy a three course dinner and Dalmatian wine. After dinner return to the Old City Port. Enjoy a glimpse of Dubrovnik by night before boarding your bus at Pile Gate to return to the hotel. Boat ride depends on weather conditions.

Bled with its surroundings of natural beauty, is a jewel among the Alpine resorts. Enjoy a scenic ride on a unique small rowing boat called a "Pletna," to the island in the middle of the lake. After disembarking the boat, visit the island's old church housing an impressive art collection. You'll have some free time to enjoy the magnificent views from the island. Later, the boat will bring you back ashore and you will continue by motor coach to another Alpine lake resort – Bohinj, beautifully incorporated amidst the dense woods and spectacular mountains. The journey will take you through some very old typical Slovenian villages with gorgeous landscape. Your excursion will end later in the afternoon.

Tour of Radovljica with dinner Thumbnail

A short yet scenic drive will take you to Kumrovec, situated on the bank of the river Sutla, along the Croatian-Slovenian border. Kumrovec's fame is that it was the birthplace of the late marshal Tito, the president of former Yugoslavia, whose house has since been turned into a museum. Today, the major attraction of Kumrovec is the Ethnological Museum Staro Selo (Old Village) with very well preserved village houses from the turn of the 19th and the 20th centuries. Up to forty houses and other farmstead facilities have been restored, which makes Staro Selo the most attractive place of this kind in Croatia. Later, follow a winding road through the Zagorje hills. An early dinner of genuine local specialties and wine is served at the farm restaurant Gresna Gorica (The Hill of Sin) with magnificent views of the 15th century castle Veliki Tabor.
