You begin the day with astounding panoramic views of Tokyo from the Observation Deck of the Tokyo Tower - on a clear day you can see Tokyo Bay, Yokohama and even Mt. Fuji! Then, travel to the serene Meiji Shrine* nestled in a forested area, honoring the first Emperor of modern Japan and his Empress. View the Akasaka Guest House and National Diet Building on the way to the Imperial Palace, former site of Edo Castle, where Samurai warriors lived from the 17th to 19th centuries. This huge parkland, surrounded by water-filled moats and massive stone walls, is now the residence of Japan's Imperial Family and a precious jewel of nature within the hectic city center. Stop at the lovely Nijubashi Bridge that stretches over the moat in the outer gardens with its colorful displays of seasonal flowers. The tour concludes at the Ginza district, Tokyo's most celebrated upscale shopping, dining and amusement area.

Nikko a UNESCO World Heritage Site located at the entrance of the Nikko National Park, has served as a center for Shinto and Buddhist worship for centuries. It is home to several temples and shrines, including the Futarasan Shrine and the Rinnoji Temple. Visit the Toshogu Shrine, the mausoleum of the first Tokugawa Shogun, a gorgeous complex of colorful structures featuring the superb craftsmanship of Japan's 17th-century artisans. After an authentic Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant. enjoy a visit to the Tamozawa Imperial Villa, one of the largest remaining wooden buildings in Japan. This fascinating villa, which is also a designated National Cultural Treasure, features architecture that spans three different periods: Edo, Meiji, and Taisho. Stroll through its 106 rooms and beautifully manicured Japanese gardens to explore the remnants of its illustrious past. Afterward, travel to the Kegon Waterfall, considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Nikko. This morning, enjoy a comprehensive tour of downtown Singapore. Start out by driving around the Civic District, passing by the historic Parliament House and City Hall.
