A morning tour of Prague includes a visit to the Royal Hradcany Castle district, former residence of the Bohemian Kings. DAY 6, Monday - Regensburg City Tour
After breakfast, depart for Regensburg by coach where you will join a walking tour of this historic city built by the Romans in 179 BC. Today Regensburg stands proudly as one of the largest and most well preserved cities in Bavaria. The tour includes such sights as the Old Town Hall, the Dom St. Peter, the Roman Gates at Porta Pretoria, and one of the oldest stone bridges over the Danube. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and free time to further explore Regensburg on your own. In the late afternoon, return to the ship in Passau

DAY 7, Tuesday - Morning in Passau
This morning passengers joining the optional tour will depart for Salzburg, while remaining guests will have the opportunity to explore Passau independently.     Afternoon visit to the site of the Nazi concentration camp at Terezin, a place of suffering and inhumanity for over 150,000 prisoners. Upon arrival, walk to the camp’s ghettos where more than 35,000 Jews lost their lives.     Travel through the picturesque landscape of Southern Bohemia to Cesky Krumlov, a fairy-tale town with its maze of narrow cobbled streets. Declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site in 1992, Cesky Krumlov has earned an international reputation for its State Castle and Chateau, one of the largest in Central Europe, superbly furnished with priceless art, tapestries and richly decorated weapons. The guided walk through town is highlighted by Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance houses once mansions of noblemen families. A hearty lunch is included in a medieval old-fashioned tavern.

    *The castle is closed from November 1-March 31, and on Mondays. Instead, tour the city of Ceske Budejovice to see its historic square, home to the famous Black Tower and other 16th-century structures.

    **Please note that this tour involves uphill walking on uneven surfaces and may not be suitable for all travelers. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
