Breakfast at the hotel
A full day excursion to the Great Wall, the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor.
Lunch at a local restaurant
After lunch, drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD)

Day 4 (Thursday): Beijing
Breakfast at the hotel
Embark on a morning tour of Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and the Palace Museum known as the Forbidden City. The complex of imperial palaces were home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for over 500 years. Some of the grand halls are used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures.

Continue to the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family, and take a boat ride on it's Lake Kunming

Day 5 (Friday): Beijing - Xian
Breakfast at the hotel
Morning sightseeing to visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining in China today.

Continue to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in 652AD. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures, which were obtained from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang

Morning visit to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture.

Afternoon flight to Guilin, a city known for it's beautiful landscape, the spectacular pointed mountains, the winding rivers and the limestone rock formations.

Embark on an exciting downstream cruise on the Lijiang River and be exposed to the indescribable beauty and scenery surrounding it.

Disembark at Yangshuo a small town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Visit these local markets before returning by coach to Guilin

Day 11 (Thursday): Guilin - Guangzhou

Begin the day with a city tour including visits to the extraordinary underground Reed Flute Cave, and a climb up the Fubo Hill for a panoramic view of the city.

Afternoon flight to Guangzhou, capital of the Guanghong Province and the most dynamic and developed commercial center of southern China

China Departure Tax
Required upon departure in local currency (cash only) the amount of approximately CNY 90 Ren Min Bi (approximately $11.00 US). Aircraft boarding will be denied to any passenger who fail to pay this tax which is collected after check-in and prior to boarding by Federal Airport staff. Passport & Visa Requirments:

Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. This package is based on Monday departures only. Surcharges up to $60 per person each way apply for return travel Friday, Saturday and Sunday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received.
