Day 1 : Depart United States
Day 2: Arrival in Rome
Arrive into Rome airport and be transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival at your hotel, check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. In the evening, meet your Roman guide for a welcome reception with a drink in your hotel.
Two-night stay in Rome at Champagne Palace Hotel or similar.
Day 3 : Rome and Vatican
After breakfast, meet your Roman Guide in the lobby. Your Rome discovery will start with a guided tour to the Vatican with entry to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. The Vatican museums are housed in palaces originally built for Renaissance popes. From the former papal private apartments, the museums were created over a period of time to display the vast treasure trove of art acquired by the Vatican. After your visit to the Vatican, you will have time to explore the Eternal City on your own. Take in the views of the Forum, the Colosseum, and highlights of Ancient Rome. Visit the Pantheon, the only building of ancient Rome that remains intact today. Don’t miss the Spanish Steps, The Trevi Fountain, and other nearby Roman attractions. The magic of Rome is yours to discover.
Day 4 : Rome to Florence via Assisi
After breakfast meet your tour escort in the lobby, where you will board your private coach for travel from Rome to Florence with a stop in Assisi. In Assisi you will stop to visit the Basilica di San Francesco. This important church, which consists of both an upper and lower church, houses some of the most important cycles of frescoes in Italy, including works by such pre-Renaissance giants as Cimabue and Giotto. The lower basilica dates from 1228-30 and the upper basilica from 1230-53. The basilica and its paintings form the most significant monument to St. Francis. Continue in the afternoon to the city of Florence.
Two-night stay in Florence at De la Pace or similar.
Day 5 : Florence
After breakfast you are free to explore the wonders of Florence. You can enjoy such sites as the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell’Accademia. Ask your sales representative about sightseeing tours you may pre-book.
Day 6 : Florence to Venice
After breakfast meet your tour escort in the lobby, where you will board your private coach for travel from Florence to Venice. You will spend about three to five hours in the comfortable coach as you head north to Venice. The evening is yours to enjoy Venice at your leisure. Explore the canals and landmarks buildings, enjoy a dinner and observe life from one of the famous café in Piazza San Marco.
Two nights stay at Hotel Olimpia or similar.
Day 7 : Venice
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a walking tour of Venice. Your tour will include St. Mark‘s Square with views of the Basilica of San Marco, plus views of the Doges Palace and the notorious Bridge of Sighs. The remainder of the day is at leisure or you could join one of the optional tours. Ask your sales representative about sightseeing tours you may pre-book.
Day 8 : Return flight from Venice to United States
After breakfast, return to Venice airport for your flight home. Two group transfers will be scheduled, one in the early morning and one in the late morning. If you have a late or early evening flight we do have private transfers that are available to book!

Notes:
Space is limited and your desired travel dates may not be available if you wait, so book early to avoid disappointment. We highly recommend 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates and/or accommodations.
Tour Membership:
In order to ensure congenial membership, the tour company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant and to expel from the tour any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the tour group.
Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.
Nonrefundable and nonchangeable once paid in full.
Passport Requirements:
It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.
Health requirements:
Tour members should check with the consulates and/or the local health boards for the latest health requirements.
Travelers who need special assistance:
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to the tour company at the time of booking. The tour company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled tour participants, but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, lodges, restaurants, or other independent suppliers, nor any additional expenses incurred. Motor coaches and minibuses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. Individual assistance cannot be provided to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off motor coaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need assistance must be accompanied by a qualified and physically able companion. Motorized scooters are unsuitable for touring.
Young tour participants:
Tour participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 8 years are not accepted.
Accommodations:
The hotels listed in the itinerary will be used on almost all departures but are subject to change without notice. If a change becomes necessary for any reason, hotels substituted will be similar to those shown. Generally only twin-bedded rooms are reserved. Should any double-bedded rooms be reserved they are allocated to couples. Room types are assigned upon check-in. Please note it is standard policy that hotel rooms are available for check-in after 3 p.m. Early hotel check-in is not available. Private bath & single rooms: In exceptional cases where private bath or single rooms are not available, refunds are made by the Tour Director. Claims made in this respect cannot be accepted after the tour.
Air-conditioning:
Although available at most of the hotels offered in our escorted tour programs, conditions and use of air-conditioning abroad differs greatly from the United States. Many European hotels were built before central air-conditioning was introduced. Air-conditioning is often shut down at night.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed on motor coaches or minibuses.
Holidays:
During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.
Baggage:
Porterage for one suitcase is included in tour price not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weight not exceeding 50 lbs. A second suitcase or any luggage exceeding these limits will not be accepted. Most airlines impose a weight and size restriction on baggage and will charge additional fees if these restrictions are exceeded. Please check with the applicable airline(s) regarding airline baggage allowances for your vacation program.
Not included in program price:
Passports; visas; tips to your Tour Director, tour driver, and local city guides; laundry, beverages, food not on the regular table d’hote menu (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); optional excursions; and other items of a personal nature.
Safety:
Please be aware that during your participation in this tour certain risks and dangers may arise beyond the tour operators control including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. The tour operator will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that the tour operator will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken.

Restrictions:
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 21-day advance purchase. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. Surcharges up to $50 per person each way may apply for travel Thursday through Monday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates are highly recommended.
