    Day 1 (Monday): Depart USA


    Day 2 (Tuesday): Arrival Bangkok

  • Arrival into Bangkok International airport
  • Upon arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our local guide
  • Accommodation in Bangkok


    Day 3 (Wednesday): Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Lopburi – Pitsanuloke

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Pick up from the hotel's lobby at 7:30am
  • Depart from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, former capital of Thailand. The principal sights are the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpitr, the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch and Wat Pranangcherng.
  • Continue via Saraburi to Phra Buddha Badh with its shrine of the holy footprint of Lord Buddha.
  • Proceed to Lopburi for lunch.
  • Visit the Prang Sam Yod (sacred three-spired pagoda), the ruins of Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat and the Monkey Temple.
  • Proceed by bus to Pitsanuloke and check in to your hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel
  • Accommodation in Pitsanuloke (B,L,D)


    Day 4 (Thursday): Pitsanuloke - Sukhothai - Sri Satchanalai - Lampang

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit Wat Maha Dhat with it's revered Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj.
  • Travel to Sukhothai, visit the famous ruins of this first capital of Thailand (1257-1379).
  • Lunch at a local restaurant
  • Travel to Sri Satchanalai, the northern outpost town of the Kingdom of Sukhothai, built by King Ramkamhaeng.
  • Visit Wat Chang Lom, Wat Jedi Jet Thaew, and Wat Nang Phya and Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat standing on the site of the Knmer fort Chalieng.
  • Proceed to Lampang
  • Dinner at the hotel
  • Accommodation in Lampang (B,L,D)


    Day 5 (Friday): Lampang - Phayao - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Drive to Ko Kah to see Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang with its beautiful Emerald Buddha
  • Travel on to Phayao, a unique rural town and former princely state. Visit Wat Sri Kom Kam
  • Proceed to Chiang Rai
  • Lunch at a local restaurant
  • Visit Chiang Saen, an attractive town and a former capital, situated directly on the Mekong River at the border between Thailand and Laos
  • Visit Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti by climbing 383 steps to the top of the hill. Also visit Wat Chedi Luang and a small museum nearby
  • Take a boat trip upriver on the Mekong to the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet
  • Travel to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town, on the border with Myanmar. Shop at the local market
  • Return to Chiang Rai
  • Dinner at the hotel

    Day 6 (Saturday): Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit Ban Lorcha, a Phami Akha hill-tribe community center, and learn about it's effort in promoting sustainable village life and tourism
  • Proceed to Chiang Mai and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • Visit to Handicraft Villages to observe production of lacquer-ware, Thai silk, and paper umbrellas
  • Enjoy Kantoke Dinner, a typical Thai dinner with ancient dances from Northern Thailand, followed by dances and songs by various hill-tribes.
  • Rest of evening at your leisure to experience the city's night markets in search of bargains.

    Day 7 (Sunday): Chiang Mai

  • Visit Wat Doi Suthep and Monastery, built in 1383 and tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 1,056 meters. In the center of the complex is a big chedi (spiral pagoda), containing partial relics of Buddha
  • Visit an Elephant camp and watch the elephants working with timber in the forest
  • Visit an Orchid farm and enjoy lunch at an local restaurant
  • Return to Chiang Mai
  • Afternoon visit to a well-known Thai wood carving factory with possibility of buying Burmese antiques
  • Accommodation in Chiang Mai (B,L)


    Day 8 (Monday): Chiang Mai - Bangkok

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok

  • City and Temples Tour, This tour includes three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok - Wat Saket, known as the Golden Mount which houses Buddha relics within its 58 metres high chedi surmounted by a golden cupola, - Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings, - Wat Benjamaborpitr, the White Marble Temple, one of the finest examples of Thai architecture.
  • Afternoon at leisure
  • Siam Niramit - Evening Extravaganza with Thai Dinner: Pick up at 17:30 from your hotel's lobby and transfer to the Ratchada Theater.
    Siam Niramit is a world-class performance of Thailand's arts and cultural heritage. This must-see show is performed on the gigantic stage now listed in the Guinness World records, featuring over 150 performers with as many as 500 costumes. On top of this , enhanced special effects with the world's most advanced technology are used to produce a stimulating, very realistic and inspiring experience.     Space is limited and your desired travel dates may not be available if you wait, so book early to avoid disappointment. We highly recommend 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates and/or accommodations.

  • Passport Requirements:
    It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.
  • Passport numbers are required for confirmation.
  • Thailand Departure Tax:
    Required upon departure in local currency (cash only) the amount of 500THB approximately. Aircraft boarding will be denied to any passenger who fail to pay this tax which is collected after check-in and prior to boarding by Federal Airport staff.
  • Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.
  • Nonrefundable and nonchangeable once paid in full.

  • Restrictions:
    Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. Surcharges up to $60 per person each way apply for return travel Friday, Saturday and Sunday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates are highly recommended.
