DAY 3, Thursday - Walking Tour of Rome
This morning enjoy a tour of the monuments in Rome. Depart Piazza San Bernardo, site of Moses' Fountain, and continue to the Piazza della Repubblica. The walking tour will take you through the ages of Rome, starting from St. Peter's Basilica. Proceed to the famous Piazza Navona, erected over the ruins of Domitian's Circus, before heading to the best preserved of all ancient Roman buildings, the Pantheon, whose original dome is the largest surviving from antiquity in the world. The tour ends at the Trevi Fountain, the largest and most exquisite baroque fountain in Rome. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 4, Friday - Full Day in Rome
Enjoy a second full day in Rome on your own. Be sure not to miss the artistic treasures of the city such as the Vatican Museum's collection of works by Raphael and Michelangelo, including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stop by one of the several museums packed with artifacts from the ancient city, or take a walk through the numerous piazzas and marvel at the sculptural works on display in the open air

Today, arrive in Genoa at 8:00 am. See La Lanterna, the oldest working lighthouse in the world or visit the Aquarium of Genoa, one of Europe's largest. This evening at 7:00 pm, set sail for Marseilles

DAY 7, Monday - Full Day in Marseilles, France
Today at 8:00 am arrive in Marseilles. Marseilles is the oldest city in the country and second largest after Paris. It's also one of the most picturesque ports in the country, with fantastic views and scenic backdrops. This evening set sail at 6:00 pm

DAY 8, Tuesday - Full Day in Barcelona
Arrive in Barcelona at 10:00 am. Barcelona is considered one of the most artistic and culturally rich cities in Spain. Perhaps stop at Park Guell, one of Barcelona's largest urban parks designed by Gaudi, the famous Catalan architect. Originally planned to be an exclusive area for the richest families of Barcelona's bourgeoisie, it later became a public park. Though the park was never fully completed, it is considered one of Gaudi's most colorful and playful works. Then continue to the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece and Europe's most unconventional church. Sail for Palma at 10:00 pm

DAY 9, Wednesday - Full Day in Palma De Mallorca
Today at 9:00 am, dock in Palma De Mallorca, the capital of Spain's Balearic Islands. It is the vacation destination of Spanish royalty. See La Seu, the city's cathedral, with a vaulted nave only slightly lower than St. Peter's Basilica. For art lovers, the Museum of Contemporary Art is a must-see. Sail for Valencia at 8:00 pm

#2 Ancient Rome 2:30 PM Today's tour will feature the classic splendor of the Roman Empire. Leave Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, and head to Piazza Venezia where you will admire the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Continue to the square of the Capitol, and admire the unique sight of the Forum, Colosseum and Palatine Hill, one of Rome's most ancient districts. Walk along the pavement of the original Roman grid, which crosses the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, and the Reggia. Enjoy views of the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Triumphal Arch of Constantine. Continue with an inside tour of the Colosseum, a giant amphitheater used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles, and the largest building ever built in the Roman Empire.

#3 Vatican Museums 8:30 AM This morning, depart from the Piazza San Bernardo, site of Moses' Fountain, and travel along Via Bissolati and Via Veneto. Pass by Villa Borghese, one of Europe's most elegant parks, and previous estate of the noble Borghese family. The tour continues to the Vatican Museum and Galleries, where you will find galleries of chandeliers, tapestries, geographical maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. From here, visit the Sistine Chapel and behold the great frescoes by Michelangelo. Passing through the Vatican Hall, continue to the Basilica of Saint Peter, one of the four major basilicas of Rome, and burial site of its namesake, Saint Peter.

Please note that on Wednesdays during the Holy Father's Audience, the visit inside St. Peter's Basilica will not take place.
