DAY 1, Saturday - Depart the USA
Depart the USA for Rome. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Rome
Arrive and transfer to your hotel independently. This afternoon enjoy a guided walking tour including an ice-cream (gelato) stop, followed by a welcome drink & orientation at your hotel

DAY 3, Monday - Vatican Museum Tour
This morning, depart from the Piazza San Bernardo, site of Moses' Fountain, and travel along Via Bissolati and Via Veneto. Pass by Villa Borghese, one of Europe's most elegant parks, and previous estate of the noble Borghese family. The tour continues to the Vatican Museum and Galleries, where you will find galleries of chandeliers, tapestries, geographical maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. From here, visit the Sistine Chapel and behold the great frescoes by Michelangelo. Passing through the Vatican Hall, continue to the Basilica of Saint Peter, one of the four major basilicas of Rome, and burial site of its namesake, Saint Peter. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 4, Tuesday - Ancient Rome Tour
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the classic splendor of the Roman Empire. Leave Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, and head to Piazza Venezia where you will admire the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Continue to the square of the Capitol, and admire the unique sight of the Forum, Colosseum and Palatine Hill, one of Rome's most ancient districts. Walk along the pavement of the original Roman grid, which crosses the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, and the Reggia. Enjoy views of the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Triumphal Arch of Constantine. Continue with an inside tour of the Colosseum, a giant amphitheater used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles, and the largest building ever built in the Roman Empire

DAY 5, Wednesday - Embark Cruise

DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Livorno, Italy
This morning at 7:00 am, arrive in Livorno, located in the heart of the Tuscany region on the Tyrrhenian Sea coast. Livorno is characterized by a large network of canals that were originally built as defensive moats and later served as an important transportation network throughout the city. Perhaps take a cruise on the fossi (moats), or stroll through the Central Market and sample the delicious array of food brought in from the Italian countryside. Set sail at 7:00 pm

DAY 7, Friday - Full Day in Marseille, France
Today at 10:00 am, dock in Marseilles. Located on the Mediterranean coast, Marseilles is the oldest city in France and was founded in 600 BC. Amongst the many terracotta-roofed buildings lie many intriguing sights including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde. Other places well worth visiting are the city of Avignon and the quaint villages of Le Baux & Aix en Provence. Set sail for Palma de Mallorca at 7:00 pm

Arrive in Barcelona at 5:00 am. Barcelona is considered one of the most artistic and culturally rich cities in Spain. Perhaps stop at Park Guell, one of Barcelona's largest urban parks designed by Gaudi, the famous Catalan architect. Originally planned to be an exclusive area for the richest families of Barcelona's bourgeoisie, it later became a public park. Though the park was never fully completed, it is considered one of Gaudi's most colorful and playful works. Don't forget to take a stroll down the historic avenue of Las Ramblas, the most famous and lively street in Barcelona. Sail at 6:00 pm
