DAY 2, Thursday - Arrive in Barcelona
Arrive and transfer to your hotel on your own. Balance of the day at leisure

DAY 3, Friday - Barcelona City Tour
This morning join a city tour of Barcelona. Drive via Layetana and view the Cathedral, Gothic Quarter, and Plaza Sant Jaume en route to visit the port and Olympic Village. Continue to Montjuic (Hill of the Jews) for panoramic views of the city and port, and tours of the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace. Also visit the "Poble Espanol" (Spanish Village) to observe its regional architecture characteristic of early Spain. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Catalan Cava (sparkling wine). Spend the afternoon exploring Barcelona at leisure

DAY 4, Saturday - Full Day in Barcelona
Enjoy a second full day on your own in Barcelona. You could pay a visit to the hill of Montjuic for a panoramic view of the city, as well as a tour of the Olympic Stadium, built for the 1992 Summer Games. Don't forget to take a stroll down the historic avenue of Las Ramblas, the most famous and lively street in Barcelona

Today at 7:00 am, dock in Naples, located on Italy's breathtaking southern coast. Explore this picturesque city, or join an excursion to see the impressive sites in the area. Go to the city of Pompeii, destroyed by the Volcano Vesuvius in 79 AD, and has remained remarkably well-preserved by the ash that buried it, or marvel at the natural beauty of Italy's Amalfi Coast, including the Isle of Capri, with its towering rock cliffs and turquoise waters. Set sail for Rome at 7:00 pm

DAY 8, Wednesday - Full Day in Rome
Arrive in Italy this morning at 7:00 am and enjoy a full day at leisure while docked in Civitavecchia, the port of Rome located 90 minutes from the city center. Join one of the many optional tours throughout Rome, or explore the Eternal City on your own. Perhaps take a stroll through ancient Rome and visit the Forum, the Coliseum and Pantheon. Be sure not to miss the artistic treasures of the city such as the Vatican Museum's collection of works by Raphael and Michelangelo, including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stop by one of the several museums packed with artifacts from the ancient city, or take a walk through the numerous piazzas and marvel at the sculptural works on display in the open air. Florence is known as the birthplace of the Renaissance and is world renowned for its art galleries, including the Accademia of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo's David is housed, and the Uffizi Gallery. Pisa is home to spectacular churches as well as the iconic Leaning Tower. This evening at 7:00 pm begin sailing for France

The mountain is home to the Montserrat Benedictine Monastery, constructed nearly 1000 years ago. The monastery maintains a strong presence with its community of monks, boys' school and impressive library. Enjoy a guided orientation tour to see the monastery, basilica, museum and Stations of the Cross. Take some time to explore on your own before descending the mountain and returning to Barcelona.
