    This itinerary is performed by a local tour company.     DAY 1, Thursday - Arrive in Calgary
    Arrive in Calgary and transfer to your hotel. Your tour guide will contact you in the late afternoon. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore the city. Popular sites include the Glenbow Museum and Eau Claire Market

    DAY 2, Friday - Calgary City Tour & Banff National Park
    This morning begins with a tour of Calgary, including sights such as the Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary, and the Stampede Grounds. Next, depart Calgary via the Trans-Canada Highway and head west into the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The Canadian Rockies dominate the view as you approach Banff National Park. Upon arrival in the resort town of Banff, check in to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure

    DAY 3, Saturday - Banff National Park
    Today enjoy a tour of the region. Banff became Canada's first national park in 1885 to protect the area's natural hot springs. The park encompasses 4,126 square miles of Canadian Rockies including the picturesque Lake Louise. Inhabitants of the park include elk, moose, caribou, bison, cougars, lynx, wolverine, gray wolves, black bears, and grizzly bears. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore on your own

    DAY 4, Sunday - Lake Louise and Jasper National Park
    This morning depart Banff for Jasper National Park. En route stop at Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in Canada, and marvel at its blue waters and gorgeous mountain views. The tour continues on the Icefields Parkway that offers picturesque views of mountain lakes, glaciers, and sweeping valleys in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. At Columbia Icefield, enjoy a ride on an Ice Explorer across the surface of Athabasca Glacier and learn about the icefields and their impact on the environment

    DAY 5, Monday - Yellowhead Highway
    Enjoy the morning at leisure or join in an optional tour of Maligne Lake. Leaving Jasper National Park, head west on the Yellowhead Highway into the heartland of British Columbia. The route offers breathtaking views as it winds along the Thompson river and through the rolling Shuswap Highlands
    Overnight: Sun Peaks

    DAY 6, Tuesday - Whistler
    Depart Sun Peaks this morning for Whistler. The journey takes you along Duffey Lake Road, which twists and weaves through beautiful mountain ranges, fir-lined valleys, and along the dramatic shoreline of Duffey Lake. Upon arrival in Whistler, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to explore Whistler Village and its surroundings. Consider a walk among the local restaurants and galleries along the Village Stroll, a hike on the Whistler Valley Trail through Whistler's neighborhoods and parks, or a ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola connecting Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains at their peaks and reaches a record height of 1,427 feet above ground

    DAY 7, Wednesday - Sea-to-Sky Highway to Victoria
    This morning depart Whistler along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, heading south through spectacular coastal landscapes, en route to Victoria. Upon arrival at Horseshoe Bay, embark on a ferry cruise across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. From here, continue by coach to Victoria, the capital city of British Colombia. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour of Victoria and learn about its maritime heritage, including stops at the Inner Harbour, Parliament Buildings, the Thunderbird Park totem poles, Chinatown, and Victoria's historic center

    DAY 8, Thursday - Victoria
    Today enjoy a tour of the world famous Butchart Gardens. Established on his estate by early 19th century industrialist Robert Pim Butchart, the first garden was his wife's plan to refurbish their exhausted limestone quarry, now known as the Sunken Garden. Today it is considered one of the world's greatest floral displays. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city. Popular attractions include the Royal BC Museum, Beacon Hill Park, Craigdarroch Castle, the Parliament Buildings, and the Inner Harbour

    DAY 9, Friday - Vancouver
    This morning travel from Victoria to the oceanside city of Vancouver. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the city, including Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, and Chinatown. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Additional attractions include Queen Elizabeth Park, the Museum of Anthropology, Fort Langley, UBC Botanical Gardens, Vancouver Aquarium, and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the Capilano Suspension Bridge
