    DAY 3, Friday - London City Tour
    Today, discover the history, pageantry and sights of the city with a half day tour of London’s West End. Begin with a drive to Westminster, past the Abbey, Houses of Parliament and the famous Big Ben. Continue to Buckingham Palace to witness the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Guard (when held). Next, pass through Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square before reaching fashionable Kensington with its elegant squares and parks. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy a traditional pub lunch, shop at Harrods and maybe join our in-depth optional tour of St. Paul's cathedral and the Tower of London

    DAY 5, Sunday - Paris City Tour
    This morning enjoy a guided city tour of Paris, the City of Light, including a drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe. Afternoon at leisure to explore the countless museums, such as the Louvre and Orsay, relax in the Luxembourg gardens or shop in the capital of fashion

    DAY 6, Monday - Travel to Switzerland, Lucerne City Tour
    After breakfast, transfer to the Paris train station for your journey to Switzerland. Enjoy vistas of Burgundy vineyards, and peaceful French countryside, arriving in Swiss Basel. Then take a short ride to Lucerne to explore the sights on an orientation tour to see the Lion Monument, 14th Century Chapel Bridge, city walls and the Lakeshore with its Transport museum and Congress house

    DAY 7, Tuesday - Full day in Lucerne
    Enjoy a full day in the heart of Central Switzerland in the old Medieval town, perhaps visiting the Jesuit church or one of the galleries, such as the Rosengart collection. Shop for chocolate, watches and cuckoo clocks, or venture out on one of the lake’s paddle steamers

    DAY 8, Wednesday - Travel South via Lugano to Venice
    Head south via the 11 mile long St. Gotthard tunnel into the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, to pause beside Lakeside Lugano. Continuing south past Lake Como and Milan, we head through the olive groves, and fruit trees to the fertile Venetian Plain, where dinner awaits

    DAY 9, Thursday - Venice City Tour
    Today begins with a boat ride to the Island of Murano, known throughout the world for its fine glasswork industry. Then, visit St. Mark's Square to begin a guided walking tour of romantic Venice. View the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and visit the Doge's Palace, whose facade features a massive late-Gothic gate, known as the Porta della Carta. Take the remainder of the day to explore Venice on your own

    DAY 10, Friday - Pisa Sightseeing En Route to Florence

The four monuments of this extraordinary piazza make for a unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles.     DAY 11, Saturday - Florence City Tour
    Today's morning tour begins with a visit to the Accademia of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo's David is housed. Walk to the Duomo, celebrated for its magnificent dome designed by Brunelleschi, and view the Baptistery's renowned "Gates of Paradise" by Ghiberti. Continue to explore the open air art museum of Signoria Square ending at Ponte Vecchio, known as the "Old Bridge." Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Florence. This evening, dine in an authentic Tuscan restaurant in the countryside

    Today begins with the visit to the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stroll through St. Peter's Square, passing Bernini's famous colonnade, to visit St. Peter's Basilica, where you will view Michelangelo's Pieta. This highly-finished marble sculpture depicts the body of Jesus in the arms of Mary after the Crucifixion and is considered to be among the most compelling of all works of art in the Western world.
