    DAY 1, Thursday - Depart the USA
    Depart the USA for Turkey. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

    DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Istanbul
    Arrive and transfer with assistance to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure
    Overnight: Istanbul

    DAY 3, Saturday - Istanbul City Tour, Embark Cruise
    This morning begin exploring Istanbul on your own. This afternoon join a half day tour into the heart of Istanbul City, including visits to St. Sophia, the great Byzantine basilica built in the 6th century and the Blue Mosque, the 17th century Ottoman masterpiece famous for its six minarets and magnificent interior lined with blue tiles. Continue onto the Hippodrome and finally the Grand Bazaar, the world's largest covered market, featuring over 58 streets and more than 4000 shops. In the late afternoon, embark your floating hotel. The ship will set sail at 8 pm for Mykonos

    Situated between Tinos and Naxos, Mykonos is one of the most picturesque of the Cyclades archipelago and has become one of the world's top travel destinations because of its captivating, cosmopolitan atmosphere, beautiful beaches and exciting nightlife. History buffs will not want to miss the opportunity to visit the nearby island of Delos, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world. Set sail for Patmos

    DAY 6, Tuesday - Morning in Patmos, Afternoon in Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey
    Enjoy the morning at leisure in Patmos before leaving for Kusadasi. Renowned for its beaches and attractive view of the Aegean, Kusadasi is near to several historical sites including Ephesus, a city created by the Ionians in the 11th century B.C. and later expanded by the Romans to become a powerful trading and religious center. Sail for Rhodes at 8:30 pm

    DAY 7, Wednesday - Full Day in Rhodes
    Enjoy a full-day at leisure on the island of Rhodes from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, the largest island of the Dodecanese archipelago. Explore the island's medieval Old Town, preserved in and around the walls of a Venetian castle, built by the 14th century Knights of St. John. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the citadel of Rhodes is located at the far northern end of the island and is considered one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Cruise in the early evening to Heraklion

    DAY 8, Thursday - Morning in Crete, Evening in Santorini
    Arrive this morning in Crete at 7:00 am. Enjoy a half day at leisure to explore the island on your own before cruising at 11:30 am. This evening, enjoy a brief stop on the island of Santorini. Known for its breathtaking caldera, Santorini is also famous for its sandy beaches, colorful sunsets, and whitewashed buildings along the sea-cliffs

    DAY 9, Friday - Disembark Cruise, Sightseeing en route to Olympia
    Disembark in Piraeus at 6:00 am and depart Athens via the scenic coastal road to the Corinth Canal to visit the amphitheater of Epidaurus, still used today. Then, continue via Nauplion to Mycenae, the heartland of Greek mythology. Visit the archaeological site known as the "Treasury of Atreus," and the Tomb of Agamemnon, built around 1250 B.C. From here, drive the Central Peloponnese Peninsula, whose primary cities were Corinth and Sparta in classical times, through to the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Continue to Olympia, birthplace of the first Olympic Games

    DAY 10, Saturday - Olympia Archaeological Site Tour
    Visit the archaeological site of Olympia, including the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium, and the Archaeological Museum, where Greek works of art such as Nike of Paionios and terracotta statues date to 5th century B.C. Drive north through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, crossing the Corinth Strait via a cabled bridge from Rion to Antirion. Pass the towns of Nafpactos and Itea en route to the city of Delphi, home of the ruins of the Tholos Temple

    DAY 11, Sunday - Delphi Archaeological Site Tour, Travel to Kalambaka
    In the morning, visit the excavated site and museum of Delphi, where you will find the sacred Omphalos, once kept in the Adyton of Apollo's Temple, along with the Kourus Statues, Kleobis and Viton, and the 32 foot high Sphinx of Naxos, sitting on an Ionic column (circa 560 B.C.). Continue to the small town of Kalambaka, situated amidst smooth sandstone cliffs in the foothills of Meteora

    DAY 12, Monday - Meteora Sightseeing, Return to Athens
    Visit Meteora, meaning "suspended in the air," with its mystical monasteries nestled perilously close to the edge of the bizarre rock formations. View exquisite specimens of Byzantine art, and then continue past Thermopylae, arriving in Athens in the early evening

    DAY 13, Tuesday - Athens City Tour
    Your morning tour of Athens will begin with panoramic views of Panathenian Stadium, the Presidential Residence, the ruins of the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Continue on to visit the Acropolis, the ancient architectural masterpiece built during the Golden Age of Athens. Finally, visit the new Acropolis Museum, the striking modern building built at the base of the monument where many of the original statues from the Acropolis are now displayed. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure
