    DAY 1, Tuesday - Depart the USA
    Depart the USA for Germany. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

    DAY 2, Wednesday - Arrive in Munich
    Arrive in Munich and pick up your rental car. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure
    Overnight: Munich

    DAY 3, Thursday - Hohenshwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles
    After an initial exploration of Munich yesterday upon your arrival, spend the morning outside of the city visiting the iconic vistas of Hohenswangau and Neushwanstein Castles located to the southwest of Munich. The two castles are only about a half mile from each other near the towns of Schwangau and Fussen. Hohenshwangau Castle was built first in neo-Gothic style and is said to be the inspiration for Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairytale Castle that has become one of the country's most recognizable structures. Return to Munich in the afternoon and continue to enjoy all Munich has to offer from outdoor markets to museums and palaces to the botanical gardens and the famous landmark of Church Frauenkirche with its twin spires

    DAY 4, Friday - Regensburg En route to Nuremberg
    Depart Munich this morning for Nuremberg with a stop in the must-see city of Regensburg. Regensburg is one of the most well preserved medieval cities in the area and also maintains a number of historical Roman ruins from its long history. The city is a great place to grab lunch while stocking up on souvenirs in its local shops and stores. Continue the drive to Nuremberg for some unique tastes including the Nurnberger Bratwurst, a cousin to the traditional bratwurst, and Nurnberger Lebkuchen, a kind of gingerbread

    DAY 5, Saturday - Full Day in Nuremberg
    Enjoy a full day in Nuremberg, the second largest city in Bavaria and the principal city in Franconia. The city has a long and rich history and has outlasted emperors and wars and has become a leading cultural city with its State Theater and many museums and memorials. Nestled in a picturesque area of Germany the surrounding countryside is just as beautiful to explore as the Hauptmarkt, the central market square

    DAY 6, Sunday - Leipzig En route to Berlin
    Today, head north to the city of Leipzig known for its rich musical and literary history that have made it one of Germany's cultural centers. Its past identity as a trading center have only added to the colorful background of Leipzig that combines its delicate antiquity and its progression towards the modern with the reconstruction efforts after wartime destruction. Take some time to simply wander through the streets and alleys as well as the city center and enjoy the architecture and personality of the city while enjoying the cake and coffee that is readily available in every corner of Leipzig before continuing into Berlin to see the intriguing architecture and memorials

    DAY 7, Monday - Visit Potsdam
    Take a few hours today to visit the city of Potsdam, located just to the west of Berlin. Though located in what would seem to be Berlin's shadow, Potsdam has many unique features that are not to be missed including multiple Baroque and Prussian palaces, like Sanssouci Palace and its marvelous gardens. Historical sections of the city such as the old Russian Colony and the old Dutch quarter are very accessible and easy to explore. Potsdam is another city with a medley of cultural identities that live on in the Roman Baths and the Historic Windmill. Drive back to Berlin this afternoon for your final night in Germany and a last chance to experience any sights in the capital that you maybe have missed
